Kailamed will begin user testing of Klaimber™, a multifunctional chair, in January. The feedback from the testing will be used in finalizing the chair’s design and validating its mechanical functionality.
In a good user experience of a multifunctional chair, the seat’s comfortable feel and reliable, easily controlled operation of the uplift mechanism are critical. The purpose of user testing is to get an extensive sample of observations and assessments from a diversified group of people – people of different ages, with many types of physiques and varied physical abilities.
Kailamed is proud to be able to bring its product to be tried out and tested by a larger target audience after a long time in development. We are happy to hear the opinions, evaluations and suggestions from the potential end users. Integrating user experiences in the final development process is crucial for making the third prototype of the chair and finalizing it for manufacture.
User testing will start from Oulu and extend to other locations in Finland and Scandinavia in the beginning of the year. The uplift mechanism of Kailamed’s multifunctional chair is patented. Kailamed is partly financed by Business Finland with Tempo Funding for international growth.
