Our innovative & new, furniture-like Klaimber Person Lift has been nominated to the prestigious international A’Design Award & Competition based in Italy, in the category “Differently Abled and Seniors’ Assistance Design”.
Since its establishment in 2009, A’Design Award & Competition has been showcasing the best designs, projects, services and finished products by outstanding designers, artists, architects and product manufacturers worldwide.
As an assistive product, Klaimber does not look utilitarian. Instead, our goal was to make a product fit for home environment, looking like a piece of furniture. We don’t want people to keep Klaimber hidden away, which is often the case with assistive products. We want people to have Klaimber on display at home – which also means Klaimber is always ready for use whenever needed. Klaimber of course also works as a regular chair, fulfilling it dual purpose as both assistive device and furniture.
The results of A’Design Award & Competition are announced in the Spring. We are excited to see how Klaimber is perceived and received by the international design community and look forward to the results!
