Kailamed has successfully completed its first investor funding round started in the spring. The company issued shares to new investors Kielo Growth Oy, Antosa Oy, Fortuna Services Oy and Vehkaoja Invest Oy. The investors bring their top-class expertise into Kailamed’s business development in addition to the invested capital.
The funds will be targeted to complete the R&D of Klaimber, a multifunctional assistive chair, and to bring the product to market. As a lifting aid, Klaimber’s Scandinavian design breaks the idea typically associated with assistive products and makes Klaimber a part of home decor.
Klaimber is an innovation that has gained a lot of interest from the international homecare market already during product development. The patented new product has significant market potential, and Kailamed has several LOIs for Klaimber’s sale with notable market leading distributors.
Klaimber will make its debut on the Finnish market at the Assistive Technology event Apuväline 2019, November 7 to 9, exhibited by Kailamed’s partner Camp Mobility Oy. More information about the product launch will be released in the fall. Join Kailamed’s mailing list by leaving your contact information using the form below, and we will keep you up to date.
